Dr. Sandy Gomez was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in Ocala, Florida. She graduated in 2015 with her MSN and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Motivated to further her education, she graduated with her Doctorate in 2020 from the University of North Florida. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
Sandy’s unique combination of problem-solving skills, clinical education, professionalism, leadership skills, attention to detail, bedside manner and experience has helped her provide the best health care to her patients. She believes in building lasting and trusting relationship with all her patients. Her goal is to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by closely listening and understanding each of their needs to achieve a positive health outcome.
